Complementing the technology incubator, the next PLP government will make the required changes in law to make Bermuda a leader in FinTech. FinTech denotes an industry comprised of companies that use advanced technologies to make financial services more efficient. These companies can range from those that provide mobile banking services, peer-to-peer lending, micro financing in the developed world, and insurance. It is one of the fastest growing areas in terms of the global financial services industry and one that can lead to growth and jobs in Bermuda.
