On Saturday, April 26, 2025, Premier David Burt, Minister Jason Hayward, and Minister Jache Adams hosted the Annual Seniors Tea for Constituencies 17, 18, and 19.

This beloved event, held on the Saturday after Easter each year, brought together Bermuda’s seniors for a day of celebration, connection, and community spirit.

A Memorable Day for Our Seniors

With around 85 seniors in attendance, the event featured a range of engaging performances and activities, including:

• Live Performances:

  • A dance performance by One Body in Christ.

  • A mesmerizing magic show by Marshall Magic.

  • Violinist Tiffany Fox enchanting the audience.

  • A participatory dance session led by Energised Wellness.

  • Entertainment by DJ Shaquille Pitcher and other local talents.

• Fun Activities:

  • Bingo and a Fancy Hat competition.

  • Exciting door and raffle prizes.

  • A special prize awarded to the oldest senior in attendance.

Honoring Our Seniors

Premier David Burt shared, "The Annual Seniors Tea is an opportunity to provide a space where seniors can connect, relax, and enjoy themselves. It’s a chance to show our appreciation for their ongoing role in our community."

Minister Jache Adams expressed his appreciation, saying, “Every year, our seniors look forward to this event, and it is great to give back to our seniors with this annual event. I thank all of the volunteers who helped to make this a success.”

Minister Jason Hayward added, “I’ve received great feedback from our seniors who had an incredible time at this year’s tea. Our branches are looking forward to next year's event to make it even more rewarding for our cherished seniors.”
