Lawrence Scott
Lawrence Scott is a graduate of Gilbert Institute, Bermuda Institute and the Florida Air Academy High School. He attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Lynn University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management and Flight Training and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
The son of William Alexander Scott, former Premier of Bermuda, and his wife Olga May (nee Lawrence), Lawrence spent a decade as Supervisor of JetBlue Airways at the L.F. Wade International Airport. His professional experience includes working as Chief Executive Officer at Airborne Management and as Operations Officer at ASB Operations.
His community service includes volunteering with the St. John’s Ambulance as a “First Responder” and trainer, and serving as a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc and as a counselor at the Boys’ Club. He is the Co-Founder of The Airborne Foundation, a registered charity that seeks to provide educational opportunities for young Bermudians that want to pursue a career in the aviation industry.
Currently, Lawrence serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Bermuda Airport Authority.
