As we look toward 2025, the Bermuda Progressive Labour Party (PLP) acknowledges the challenges that many Bermudians continue to face. While hurdles lie ahead, we also see opportunities to strengthen our communities and make steady progress toward real, lasting change.

Investing in Health and Seniors' Care

We remain committed to improving healthcare and supporting our seniors. In 2025, we will:

• Expand Preventative Care: Increase doctor and specialist visits covered under HIP and FutureCare, ensuring more Bermudians have access to essential care.
• Develop a Seniors Daycare Centre: Provide much-needed support for seniors while easing the burden on caregivers.
• Raise Seniors' Pensions: Continue our efforts to ensure our seniors can live with dignity and financial security.

Addressing Housing Needs

Affordable housing remains a top priority. In the coming year, we will put shovels in the ground on new affordable housing projects, building on our record investments to ensure every Bermudian has access to a safe and secure place to call home.

Education Reform and Violence Prevention

Creating opportunities for our youth is central to reducing violence and building a brighter future. We will:

• Focus on Education Reform: Provide pathways for our young people, particularly young men, to gain trades and skills that lead to meaningful employment.
• Address Violence at Its Roots: Invest in programs that uplift and empower young Bermudians, steering them toward productive and positive lives.

Revitalizing Infrastructure

Our infrastructure reflects the pride we have in our island. You’ve seen the crews fixing roads and beautifying our communities, but there’s more to be done. In 2025, we will:

• Enhance Road Repairs and Beautification Efforts: Continue our work to improve roads and public spaces, creating an environment where all Bermudians can take pride in their surroundings.

A Shared Vision for Fairness

In 2025, our team of MPs, Senators, and candidates remains steadfast in our commitment to building a fairer Bermuda for all. While we understand the impatience for immediate results, meaningful change is a journey that requires persistence and trust. Together, we can create a Bermuda where fairness isn’t just a far-off vision but a reality for every Bermudian, no matter who they are.
