Mr. Weeks received his formal education at The Central School (now renamed the Victor Scott Primary School), The Berkeley Institute, Fryburg Academy in Maine, USA and the famed Howard University in Washington D.C. Mr. Weeks served for many years in the field of Accounting with a focus on Trust Accounts and has worked for companies, both locally and overseas. Further, he has served for some twenty years, as a Residential Treatment Officer/Supervisor within the Department of Social Services.
Mr.Weeks’ motto is ‘service to the community’ and he has served on a number of Government Boards, including: Housing, Planning and the Pembroke Parish Council. He also volunteered with organizations, such as: Chairman of the Board of C.A.R.E. Learning Center, Vice President of the Western Stars Sports Club and The Berkeley Educational Society’s – Management Committee. Mr. Weeks is presently a member of the Bermuda Leopard's Club, the Executive of the Mid-Atlantic Boat Club, The Ex-Artillery Men’s Association and the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated to name a few.
Mr. Weeks political philosophy is simply, that the ‘doorstep is where the difference is made’ and he will add ‘one street corner at a time’. He has long advocated for the eradication of what he feels is undeniable -‘two Bermuda’s’ and is a strong proponent of the PLP’s motto of ‘Bermudians First’. Mr. Weeks is a known grassroots Community Activist, who is serious about the future and economic stability of this country and its peoples.
Mr. Week is married to Mrs. Cindy L. Weeks a long serving educator and is the proud father of four children and two grandchildren.
