OBA's Emperial Ties

The OBA’s Secret Alliance Exposed: What Else Are They Hiding?

The Progressive Labour Party’s suspicions have been confirmed—the OBA has been caught in a secret alliance with the Emperial Group.

Following an investigation by TNN, the OBA was forced to admit to their deep connection with the Emperial Group—a relationship they never disclosed to the public and would never have admitted to if they hadn’t been caught.

This revelation raises serious questions about the OBA’s integrity, transparency, and real agenda.

Bermudians Deserve the Truth

Let’s be clear—voters who believed the Emperial Group was independent could have unknowingly ended up with a candidate in the pocket of the OBA, committed to implementing their agenda, including Pathways to Status.

Conversely, those thinking they were voting for an OBA candidate may have instead elected someone loyal to the Emperial Group.

🔎 What else are they hiding?
🔎 What other secret deals exist between the OBA and groups masquerading as “independents”?
🔎 Is the Emperial Group funded—directly or indirectly—by the OBA, members of their party, OBA supporters, or their donors?

Bermudians deserve to know who is really influencing candidates and what promises are being made behind closed doors.

The OBA’s Excuses Don’t Add Up

The OBA’s attempt to frame this as mere “advocacy work” is an insult to the intelligence of Bermudians.

The fact that a group with political ambitions is so tied to an OBA candidate raises serious ethical concerns.

⚠️ Are OBA candidates truly representing the people of Pembroke Central?
⚠️ Or are they beholden to the Emperial Group and other undisclosed entities?

Bermudians deserve leaders who are honest, transparent, and accountable—not candidates with secret backroom deals.

Demand Accountability & Transparency

We urge the voters of Bermuda to hold the OBA accountable and demand full transparency about their relationships with external groups attempting to manipulate our democratic process.

🔹 The OBA must come clean about who is funding and influencing their candidates.
🔹 Bermudians must reject backroom deals and demand honest, straightforward leadership.
🔹 This election is about trust, integrity, and who truly stands for the people.

The PLP remains committed to transparency, fairness, and putting Bermudians first—while the OBA continues to operate in secrecy.

On February 18th, let’s choose leadership that is honest, accountable, and committed to a fairer Bermuda.
