What is the OBA Hiding?

The One Bermuda Alliance’s negative response to the PLP’s detailed platform is unsurprising.

While the PLP has presented a comprehensive 40-page document outlining exactly what we will deliver for Bermudians, the OBA has offered an 8-page pamphlet filled with vague promises and little substance.

The Reality: The OBA Offers Pathways to Status & Little Else

Let’s be clear—Michael Fahy and the OBA’s real focus is bringing back Pathways to Status.

Beyond that, they have provided no clear vision, no detailed solutions, and no plan to address the challenges Bermudians are facing today.

The PLP is proud to share our detailed plans and vision for a fairer Bermuda because we believe in transparency. We trust Bermudians to make informed choices based on real policies, not empty slogans.

The OBA, on the other hand, cannot or will not share their real agenda—because they know Bermudians would reject it.

What the OBA Didn’t Tell Us Before…

📌 In 2012, they never told us about Pathways to Status.
📌 They never told us they would force public servants into furlough days and pay cuts.
📌 They never told us they would cut scholarships and training programs.
📌 They never told us they would try to slash a woman's access to mammograms.
📌 They never told us they would deny seniors pension increases.

Now, we know what they didn’t tell us then—but the question remains:

A Challenge to the OBA: Come Clean

The PLP challenges the OBA to:

✔️ Be honest with Bermudians
✔️ Come clean about their real agenda
✔️ Share exactly what they plan to do

Bermudians deserve the truth so they can decide for themselves who is best suited to build a fairer, stronger Bermuda for all.

The PLP is ready. The question is—why isn’t the OBA?
