Meet Paul
Paul Wilmot, the son of John and Brenda Wilmot, is a born and bred Cedar Hill resident of over fifty years, with a track record of delivering for his community, As a child, Paul attended Purvis Primary, and Robert Crawford School, from where he graduated in 1987.
Paul is the owner/operator of his family trucking business, Wilmot Trucking. In this capacity, he makes daily deliveries on behalf of his customers, both individual and commercial. These deliveries include but are not limited to furniture moving, loading and delivery of cement, transporting heavy machinery, trucking of foliage, disposal of appliances to the dump, and delivering building materials to construction sites.
In addition to the commercial aspect of the business, Paul has also contributed his time and that of his business to community efforts when needed, culminating in receiving the Best of Bermuda Award of Excellence, as well the Unsung Hero Award of Excellence.
Paul has served on the Treatment of Offenders Board since 2017, currently serving as Deputy Chair. Additionally, he is an active member of the Warwick Parish Council. In the past, he has also served on the Trucks Advisory Committee. Paul has also served as Deputy Chair of the Constituency 27, Warwick North Central Branch of the Progressive Labour Party since 2020.
Paul is a humble man of his community, where his actions and contributions are undeniable. He is rooted in the Cedar Hill values of community and is ready to serve as a Member of Parliament.
Delivering for Warwick North Central
- Built and replastered the wall on Cedar Hill and Farm Lane.
- Filled in potholes on Cedar Heights lane
- Trimmed the sightline looking left exiting Longford Hill and Harbour Rd.
- Cleared out decades of trash dumping behind Stadium Lane.
- Coordinated the cutting and removal of Rubber Tree in Tamarind Vale.
- Collected the trash in Warwick and Southampton at no cost during difficult times.
