Premier David Burt’s Message
"I am incredibly proud of our candidates and the dedicated team that has been working tirelessly to engage with and help to register voters across Bermuda. Over the past week, we've seen firsthand how our message is resonating—especially with young voters who recognize and appreciate the work this PLP Government has done.
From expanding scholarships and apprenticeships to implementing a minimum wage, creating jobs in tourism and construction, and making record investments in youth programs and mental health services, we are building a fairer Bermuda for them and all Bermudians.”
The Road Ahead: Taking the Message to the People
Over the next 33 days, the PLP will continue taking its message to the people. With an incredible team of candidates representing a blend of experience and youth, the PLP is committed to delivering on key priorities, including:
- Increasing and expanding pensions.
- Enhancing childcare access and support.
- Implementing Bermuda’s first minimum wage.
- Making record investments in affordable housing.
- Reducing taxes for workers to the lowest level in history.
The PLP is building a fairer Bermuda for all. Stay tuned as we continue to engage with the community and deliver on our promises.
