The Bermuda Progressive Labour Party (PLP) sends congratulatory wishes to the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) on their second successive clean sweep victory in their Parliamentary Elections.

The BLP, under the leadership of the Hon. Prime Minister Mia Mottley has won two decisive victories in national elections and has transitioned Barbados from an independent Commonwealth Realm to a Republic.

In doing so, she has proven that even a small island state can be confident and respected on the world stage.

She and her team earned the confidence of the Barbados electorate, and we send our best wishes to them as they begin their next term of governance. We look forward to working with Barbados directly and through CARICOM to uplift our societies and empower our people.
