Saliva Screening in the New School Year
The new school year is quickly approaching and we are working hard to ensure that it is a safe and successful year for all.
In order to ensure we can keep our schools safe and open for our students and educators, the Department of Education will be continuing with the Saliva Screening Programme that we began towards the end of the last academic term that proved to be very successful.
I am asking for your assistance in keeping our schools safe and open for all by consenting to your child/ren to participate in the Saliva Screening Prgramme or encouraging your family members to ensure that their child/ren participate in the programme.
Please click the link to sign your child up for the Saliva Screening Programme (submit one form per child): Parent Consent Form
Parents/Guardians will have until August 31st 2021 to sign up for the programme. It is important for this deadline to be met to allow the MDL staff and schools sufficient time to process information and to prepare for the launch of the Programme when schools reopen.
I truly appreciate your assistance in this as we are all in this together.
In Solidarity,
Diallo Rabain, JP MP
Minister of Education
