Zane DeSilva
Zane Desilva is a prominent local businessman and President and CEO of Island Construction Services, who has seen the development of his business into one of the largest and most diverse “local” companies.
A highly motivated and tireless worker with a proven track record in business management, he is particularly focused on budgetary procedure and cost control and has been responsible for the successful delivery of numerous large projects.
Zane is well-known throughout the business and sporting communities and his philanthropic activities have assisted a broad range of local clubs and organizations. He has represented Bermuda in several sporting activities and was founder of the West End Runners Club and past President of the Bermuda Snooker Association.
Zane has, since 2007, been a Member of Parliament and has held ministerial portfolios as Minister Without Portfolio, Minister of Health, Minister of Social Development & Sports, and Minister of Tourism & Transport.
